Another week passed by, and another week of notable headlines came from it.
Let’s do this.
Joe Flacco is Frustrated
Former elite QB Joe Flacco is now 2-6 with the Broncos after joining the team this past offseason. It’s been pretty shitty. He just lost his best option at receiver (Emmanuel Sanders was traded to San Francisco). And his coach is way to conservative for a losing coach.
Flacco expressed frustration after coach Vic Fangio opted to run on a third-and-five on the Colts 43-yard-line with two minutes left to play.
“We’re a 2-6 football team and it just feels like we’re kind of afraid to lose the game […] It’s third-and-five at the end of the game. Who cares if they have a timeout there at the end or not? Getting in field goal range isn’t that tough. You’re just putting your defense in these bad situations and I just felt like, ‘What do we have to lose, why can’t we be aggressive be aggressive in some of these situations?’ That’s kind of how I feel about a lot of the game today.”
I understand his frustration. Flacco is known for his deep ball and when you have a conservative offense, it’s not a good situation.
Now he’s out with a neck injury for five to six weeks. Could that loss to the Colts end up being Flacco‘s last game with the Broncos?
Fire Freddie Kittens
Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens has shown his incompetence time after time. He looks overwhelmed and has no control over his team.
Three turnovers means your team wasn’t ready to play. Not to mention, they can’t figure out their offense or special teams. Let’s not forget he took a false start penalty on fourth down to go from 4th and 11 to 4th and 16.
THIS IDIOT WENT FOR IT ON 4th AND 16. And they got sacked!
If you originally planned to go for it on fourth (confirmed by Tracy Wolfson) but your punting unit went out, you clearly have no control of your team if you have that happening. Plus, why is a first-year head coach calling offensive plays? Jesus.
Never have we seen a team with such talent get fucked so hard. 13 points with that much talent on your team? Let him go!
Andy Dalton is Getting Benched
The 9–year QB is finally getting benched after three years of below average play. He’s 0-8 on the season with nine touchdowns and eight interceptions. Not to mention he’s been sacked 29 times.
Things need to change in Cincinnati.
When was the last time they were relevant? Why are they keeping AJ Green instead of trading him for draft picks to rebuild their team after the shithole Marvin Lewis left you in. Now the owners want to keep Green? It’s a lost season! Something big needs to change before Cincinnati ever wins more than 8 games again.
Dolphins vs Steelers Should Never be Shown on Monday Night Football ever Again
The Dolphins were 0-6 going into Monday night and the Steelers were a mediocre 2-4 going into this hellhole matchup. The Dolphins actually had a 14-0 lead until they realized they needed to tank for for a good QB to save the franchise.
The Steelers are without Big Ben and wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster isn’t enough star power to make me watch this. The Steelers won, but that’s like saying you’re the best poet in a math class… it doesn’t fucking matter!
QBs have been getting injured left and right. Nick Foles is out for the foreseeable future and Big Ben is out until next year. Brees has come back and will finally lead his team to what he hopes is another Super Bowl. But something needs to be done about these injuries. Make those scientists earn that money!
