Top 10 Patriots Games Since 2014 (Games 10 through 6)

Football season is around the corner, and I’m beginning to get a little antsy.

As a Patriots fan, I’ve been spoiled with an amazing team my entire life, and a bunch of great games.

The second wave of the Patriot dynasty took off in 2014, as the team won their 4th Super Bowl since 2001.

Plenty of amazing games have been played the past 5 seasons, and I wanted to share my top 10.

Here are games 10 through 6 (games 5 through 1 will drop tomorrow). Continue reading “Top 10 Patriots Games Since 2014 (Games 10 through 6)”

What to Watch this Summer for Boston Sports Fans

Thank God I’m just a bandwagon Bruins fan because that list would have devastated me! Listen, I love sports as much as the next guy but hockey isn’t for me. Maybe next season that’ll change and I’ll understand the game more. But as of now, what should be a kick in the nuts 4-1 loss in a Game 7 feels like a love tap for now.

In this post, I’ll be joined by fellow writer Nick. We’ll be discussing things to look forward to (unless your a Red Sox fan) this summer. Yes, Boston just won 2 championships, but the grind doesn’t stop and neither do we! Let’s get this bad bitch rolling.

*Disclaimer: This was written before game 6 so the NBA side may change. Updates may occur as well. Enjoy!

In this edition of “They Should’ve Been a Dynasty,” we explore recent NFL teams that should have won more than they ultimately did.

Remember the rules, I see a dynasty as the following: a team that has won at least three championships in a 10-year window. It can be a smaller window (i.e. a three-peat), but I think the simplest barometer is winning three championships within a certain window of time, showing that you were the best of your sport, and you showed it repeatedly.

Ranges of time are flexible depending on the eye of the reader, but this is how I view them. Continue reading ““They Should’ve Been a Dynasty” NFL Edition”

If you’ve met me, you’ll know I’m a big what-if kind of guy.

Over the course of the next few weeks, I’ll be conducting a series called “They Should’ve Been a Dynasty,” exploring teams from different sports over the past 15-20 years that I believe should have won more than they did. Continue reading ““They Should’ve Been a Dynasty””

Problem Solved: Russell Wilson to stay in Seattle

Happy days in Seattle.

Early this morning, after his self-implemented deadline had passed, Russell Wilson announced that he and the Seattle Seahawks had agreed to a new contract.  As details trickled out, we soon learned that the deal was for 4 years and $140 million ($35 million per season). The APY of this contract surpasses that of Aaron Rodgers ($33.5 million), and continues a trend of franchise QBs in need of a new deal becoming the highest paid player at the position (and in league history).

As fun as it would have been if no deal were agreed to and Wilson buckled down and asked to leave – and I’m telling you, it would have been THE top story in sports for the next two weeks – this is great for both sides. Continue reading “Problem Solved: Russell Wilson to stay in Seattle”

April 15.

Yes, that is the deadline to file your taxes (DON’T MAKE THE IRS MAD FOLKS!), but it is also the deadline that Russell Wilson has given the Seattle Seahawks for a new contract.
