Baseball was the first professional sport to return in an official capacity in the United States just two weeks ago, and it’s been a whirlwind.
The Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals have had several members of their organization test positive for COVID-19, which has led to the teams missing games. This has had a ripple effect, as St. Louis had to postpone their series against the Milwaukee Brewers last weekend, while the Marlins were not able to play the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals last week. The Phildelphia Phillies missed a week due to playing Miami to start the season, while the Yankees had to re-adjust their schedule. Continue reading “State of the Boston Red Sox”
As most of you already know, Boston has been the hub of sports for the past two decades, winning 12 championships in the process. From the Patriots dynasty (still going), to the Red Sox randomness of great seasons, to the Bruins having two more shots at the Cup, and the Celtics still trying to get banner 18 for the first time since 2008, the city is certainly trying to add more. All four teams have a decent to really good chance at winning one or a few during this new decade, which begs the question, who’s most likely to hold a trophy first this decade?

*Disclaimer: This was written before game 6 so the NBA side may change. Updates may occur as well. Enjoy!

It’s no secret the Red Sox have been a dumpster fire so far. 17 games into the season and they’re a shitty 6-11. They have the 2nd worst record in the American League. The Orioles have a better record than them. Yes, the Orioles. The team with the worst hitter in baseball.
The Red Sox had a 6-game home stand the past week and only came out with a 3-3 record. Usually this would be about the time a team with THE HIGHEST payroll in baseball would kind of start figuring things out. But that’s not this years Red Sox… so far. Continue reading “Red Sox Are a Joke Right Now”
I’m not writing this as a reaction to the Red Sox stinking it up to start the season. I could honestly care less about a 2-6 start to their 162 game season. But from Mookie’s perspective, why would you want to stay? Continue reading “I Wouldn’t Blame Mookie if he left”
